Exciting Times

So, I finally get my own work area! I am so very excited to get moved in. Everything happened so fast.
I was beginning to take over the family kitchen and therefore it just wasn’t practical any longer for me to work from home, so when on a childfree break this summer, me and the hubby actually got chance to speak to each other and decided that we should convert our garage into a workspace.
We have a large double garage that has never seen a car, it was a dumping ground which I had wanted to sort for years. Well now I was going to get my wish along with a space for me to work.
We have created a fabulous space with over head storage to hide all the things we couldn’t get rid of. It is a south facing room with bi-fold doors which open into the garden (my next project) and I have my very own kitchen with lots of storage and large worktops. (Oh, and a wine fridge ;))

June 2022
In have been studying for two Diplomas in amongst everything else. I have now completed a diploma in Craft Soap Making (Cold Process) and a Holistic Herbal Products Diploma obtaining a Distinction for both.
My plan now is to create a range of 100% natural handmade cold process soap, hopefully by early 2023.
I would love to create a soap for sensitive skin, one which will help those who suffer from skin conditions such as eczema & psoriasis. A soap to nourish, cleanse, repair and protect.
I also want to create a soap to revitalise and exfoliate, one for detoxing. Another for more mature skin and an anti-blemish facial bar, all using natural ingredients bursting with antioxidants, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and vulnerary properties. With rich emollient moisturising capabilities amongst other therapeutic benefits thanks to the essential oils I intend to use.

After being made redundant in summer 2020 due to the global pandemic, I decided to return to what I enjoy the most… being creative.
Having two children to home-school and number three on her way meant time was difficult to find but deciding to create Beautifully Artisan gave me the focus I needed to get through the second and third lockdowns.
I needed something for me.
Given how I, friends and pretty much everyone I spoke to was feeling, I decided to create products to lift spirits through the senses, help people relax and focus on themselves and their needs in what has been a very challenging time.
All our products are handmade by myself using natural, organic and sustainably sourced ingredients incorporating essential oils specifically chosen for the properties they each contain, blended together to create the perfect selection of products to help enhance both physical and mental well-being.
All our formulations have been assessed and approved by the relevant bodies ensuring all safety regulations are met and each product has been added to the Government Cosmetics Portal with full CPSR (Cosmetic Product Safety Report)
We are also pleased to be a member of the Guild of Craft Soap and Toiletry Makers which acceptance is based on companies having full CPSR for all products.
